RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- The 22-year-old Fond du Lac woman who stabbed a 33-year-old West Bend woman to death during a drug deal has been sentenced to 35 years in prison and 20 year of extended supervision.
Annaka Trudell was sentenced in Fond du Lac County Court Friday on charges of first-degree reckless homicide and armed robbery with use of force.
Trudell and co-defendant, Dawson Miller, set up a drug buy for 57 opioid pills for $250 and intended to rob Ashley Ann Calo instead of paying for the pills. Trudell stabbed Calo during the crime and Calo died in her car near Johnson and Main Street on February 14th of 2024.
Miller was previously sentenced on a felony murder charge for his role in the robbery. He got 30 years in prison and 15 years of extended supervision
