Fox Cities Chamber partners with Small Business Development Center at UWO 

APPLETON, Wis. (WISS) – A new partnership between the Fox Cities Chamber and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Oshkosh (UWO) provides free consulting for area business owners. 

The chamber issued a press release this week announcing that the SBDC will have monthly office hours, on-site, at the Fox Cities Chamber.

“Business owners seeking guidance growing their small business, or those thinking of starting a business, are welcome to reach out for no-cost, confidential consulting and business education,” stated the press release.

SBDC office hours are 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the third Tuesday of each month at the chamber office at 125 N. Superior Street, Appleton.  The next office hours are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 21.

“Entrepreneurs and small businesses are vital to our economic growth,” said Becky Bartoszek, President and CEO, Fox Cities Chamber. “We want to see them succeed and provide the resources they need to do that. Working with the SBDC on site is another ‘tool’ we can offer, to help them start or grow a business.”
