RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- A report prepared by officials at the Ripon Public Library demonstrates how much of a value it is to the community.
Susie Menk is the Adult and Teen Services Librarian. She says Library Director Nancy Bell had them put together the report. The total value of services from January through November was over $1.22 million.
Menk says that included materials circulated, computer and Wifi usage, reference questions asked and answered, meeting room usage and attendance at programs offered by the library.
She says the Return on Investment is almost 2-to-1 with the library’s budget being about $670,000 a year. Menk says in the coming year the library will expand its digital offerings; continue to provide educational and cultural programs.
