House Fire in St Cloud

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- No one was injured but a family dog died in a house fire at 818 Main Street in the Village of St. Cloud Sunday afternoon.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say their communication center got a 911 call about the fire from a passerby at 2:19 pm. Shortly after the call the homeowners returned home and confirmed no one was inside but two dogs.

Smoke was coming from the roof and fire was located in the kitchen when St. Cloud firefighters arrived. It is believed the fire started in the kitchen near the stove.

There was significant smoke and water damage to the home. Ten other fire departments responded to the fire.
