Sharp Wit and World-Class Storytelling Coming to Thrasher

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Comedian, actor, and Second City alumnus Daniel Van Kirk will bring his acclaimed stand-up comedy performance to the historic Thrasher Opera House for a single show on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

Known for his vivid character work, impressions, and world-class storytelling, Van Kirk promises Green Lake audiences an unforgettable night of sharp observational wit.

Van Kirk has built a loyal following as the co-host of the hit podcast Dumb People Town alongside the Sklar Brothers, and the podcast Pen Pals with Rory Scovel. His voice work and acting credits include recurring roles in FOX’s animated series Bob’s Burgers, Cartoon Network’s Too Loud, and regular appearances on the Comedy Bang! Bang! network. Named “Comic to Watch” by Comedy Central, Van Kirk is a veteran of the prestigious comedy festival circuit, including Just For Laughs Montreal and the SXSW Comedy Festival.
